Amika Mirrorball High Shine + Protect Antioxidant Shampoo

HAZARD

Manufacturer Amika has initiated a product recall due to a quality issue for their Mirrorball High Shine + Protect Antioxidant Shampoo which was sold as part of the “Shine-O-Sphere” hair care set. The product could have a change in odour & in rare cases cause temporary irritation.

WHAT TO DO

REMEDY

We are offering a full refund or a replacement for all affected products.

We are recalling the above product due to a safety risk. The product does not meet safety standards as it may overheat and cause burns if the air flow is restricted.

The product was on sale in our stores and online between December 2023 and June 2024. The product is marked with the model “Cosmic Wave”. One of the following product codes will be printed on the price ticket and on your receipt – 124607, 124617, 124669. No other designs from the same brand are affected by this recall.

Dreamgro Mermaid Travel Soother

We are recalling the above products due to a safety risk. The products feature a gold star decoration which may detach easily and present a choking hazard. 

The products were on sale in our stores and online between April 2024 and May 2024. The only affected products are the mermaid design with gold star which comes in two colours – blue and pink. The products are marked with the style code DF156-MT or DF156-LI. No other designs from the same brand are affected by this recall. One of the following product codes will be printed on the price ticket and your receipt – 916223, 916228.

We have identified several models of wireless chargers which do not meet electrical safety standards. If a metal object is placed near an affected charger during use, the charger can overheat which may cause it to melt or damage property, and the metal object may burn the skin if touched.

The safety of our customers is very important to us, so as a precaution we are recalling all wireless chargers from the above brands which were on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores and online between January 2023 and February 2024. This includes 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 products with built-in wireless chargers, for example speakers or power banks. No other brands are affected.

If you purchased a wireless charger of one of these brands, please stop using it immediately and return to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.

We are recalling a specific batch of the above product due to a safety issue. The product presents a risk of electric shock due to inadequate insulation which may lead to electrical breakdown of the bulbs

The product was on sale in TK Maxx, Homesense stores and online between December 2023 and February 2024. The product is marked with the product code UVLP6-COM-NA. To identify the batch, the code 059920 will be shown on the price sticker and the receipt.
